It is said that what you can offer to others is rooted in your story. This is certainly true for me. Where I am today is not where I intended it to be. But I would not change my journey because it is through adversity that I am who I am today. I am blessed!
I worked very hard to obtain the experience and qualifications I needed to work in business and finance. I loved my job and it was my life. This would quickly change. After years of being a workaholic, raising two daughters and spending very little time with my husband, my mother died, and it was in the days and weeks following her death that I realised that sometimes your vision and reality do not meet. Just months after I lost my mother we had another death in the family, and my entire world came crashing down. I was suffering from frequent severe migraines and had discovered multiple nodules on my thyroid gland, the largest was the size of a golf ball. My body was fed up with me not listening to it’s whispers, and just six months later, it took me down with it’s screams, forcing me to quit my job in order to receive treatment and recover.
For the next 2 years I continued to experience the ups and downs along the path back to health. I sought the help of anyone and everyone I could find looking for answers. No one had any solutions other than more pharmaceutical drugs. By 2012 I was very sick and had gained over 20kg in weight, but what was really alarming was that I was not recovering my energy and continued to suffer from lingering symptoms of the “side effects” of the drugs I was taking to control my pain. In 2012 I vowed that this would be the last time I would do this to my body. I knew deep down there had to be a better way. I asked the question, why were some people able to heal and others were not? This is where my quest to find answers began. I read hundreds of books, and eventually found a way to heal myself naturally. I learned about hormone balancing, detoxification, chelation from heavy metals and most importantly the importance of a healthy diet to nourish the body, and in doing that I found the abundance of health that should have been mine years before.
In 2015 I decided to study Holistic Nutrition along with Anatomy & Physiology and I completed the GAPS Practitioner Training Course at GAPS Australia in 2017. My passion drives me to help educate and equip others to find their abundant life. My plan is to work with you to take the stumbling blocks and turn them into stepping stones to better health. My greatest reward is in seeing the true joy my clients achieve from living each day as it was intended to be….. in complete health.
Are you ready to heal and live a life that is more abundant than you ever dreamed? The time is now. Don’t waste a minute longer.
